Everseal High Quality Insulation Cork Tape Applications AEROCEL EVERSEAL INSULATION TAPE is specially designed for all types of climates. It insulates cold pipes for all kinds of air conditioners used in cars, homes, freezers and refrigerators. Helps stop condensation problems. Ideal for retarding heat gain in cold pipes and preventing heat loss in hot pipes. EVERSEAL INSULATION TAPE is an effective sound dampening material, and it can also be used for gasketing purposes. EVERSEAL INSULATION TAPE sticks to all kinds of dry metals. It seals tightly without drying. It is flexible and does not shrink or melt within the service temperature of -20°F (-29°C)to +200°F (+93°C). Physical Properties Composition: Polymer based material containing synthetic rubbers, asphalt and approximately 50% cork by volume. It has a grainy rubber-like consistency and contains no asbestos. Solid Content: 99.8% Color: Black Odor: Only slight odor. Can be used without danger of contamination. Thermal Conductivity: 0.60 BTU/hr/ft2 / °F/in at 75 degrees (0.08652 W/m.k) Moisture/Vapor Transmission: 0.02 perms. (ASTM E-96 Procedure c) Water Absorption: 0.01% by volume (ASTM D-1056) Ozone Resistance: Good Temperature Range: -20°F (-29°C) to +200°F (+93°C) Specification Standard Size: 1/8” thick, 2” wide and 30' long per roll (3 mm x 50 mm x 9.1 m) +/- 3% Packing: One roll of Everseal cork tape wrapped in a plastic bag and packed into one individual box (12 boxes per master carton) |
