Aerofix-U Aerofix-U is a polymeric rigid foam hanger with a foam tape inner lining which supports and absorbs vibration of operating pipelines. The outer-cover consists of a special rubber tape which seals the hanger completely after installation in order to prevent condensation. Its strong closed cell structure is ideal for liquid cooling pipes to prevent condensation and save energy. Used for repairing and properly supporting pipes in chilled water or refrigeration systems The AEROFIX-U Hermetic System's three-piece assembly is resistant to UV degradation, condensation and heat gain. AEROCEL tubing is a durable and efficient (K-value .25) insulation. The crush-resistant AEROFIX-U pipe-hanger inserts provide extra protection from damage caused by weight from piping that is suspended or resting on channels. Self-adhesive PROTAPE chemically bonds the two components to create an airtight seal at every joint. In this way, the AEROFIX-U Hermetic System keeps moisture out by hermetically sealing your system from the environment. The AEROFIX-U is easy to install. All components are UV and weather resistant, requiring no protective paint. Our systems work over a wide temperature range, from -70° to 257°F.
